Aqua Aerobics is a fun fitness class designed to give you a low impact, non weight bearing, full body workout. Exercising in the water is great for muscle and joint pain, Choose between shallow or deep water exercises.

All exercises are adaptable so it’s a challenging but achievable workout whatever your fitness level.

AquaFit is a high energy and fun fitness class, using a number of large muscle groups to provide a full body workout. As a form of low-impact and supportive aerobics, the water-based activity is kinder on your joints allowing you to exercise without putting too much strain on your body.

MumFIT

This postnatal fitness class is designed with mums in mind. With no need to worry about childcare as you bring them with you! The class is designed to help you regain strength, fitness and confidence as well as provide the opportunity to meet other mums in a fun and safe environment.

(Suitable for mums from 6+weeks postpartum as long as GP check has been done and OK given to exercise. Children welcome up to pre-primary school age.)

CycleFit

CycleFit is sure to get your heart pumping and your feet pedalling to your favourite workout tunes. Our qualified instructor will lead you at different speeds and intensities for a full cardio workout.

BodyFit

BodyFit will focus on general fitness, toning, strength & fat burning exercises. All areas of the body will be targeted using body weight exercises to give that all over body work out. All moves have options, so it’s a challenging but achievable workout whatever your fitness level.

CoreFit is all about power, strength and stabilization. The core muscles create a solid base for our body, allowing us to stay upright and stand strong. During our CORE workouts, we aim to include a variety of midsection exercises—not just crunches

Yoga for everyone and every body Julia Osfield Yoga offers a range of yoga classes for all abilities. Chair Yoga, Flow Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Yoga & meditation and Yoga sessions are all available at McLaren Leisure.


McLaren Badminton Club

A small badminton club running out of McLaren Leisure on Tuesday & Wednesday. Open to players (16yrs +) of all abilities.


Taekwondo

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art famous for kicking techniques, Taekwondo means “The way or art of hand and foot”. Taekwondo is great for  fitness, confidence, a feeling of achieving, become a black belt, self defence, self esteem.


Woman’s Social Netball

Improve stamina, build strength, have fun, learn a new sport & socialise. Just some of the reasons to try Woman’s Social Netball sessions. Come along Wednesday Nights, 6pm-7pm. Whether you have or have never played Netball before, these sessions provide a gentle introduction or re-introduction to the sport.
