Terms and conditions for McLaren Leisure - Kids Activities

Registration & Medical Information
McLaren Leisure Centre provides everyone with a registration and medical form. This must be completed and signed declaring any known medical conditions. Should any of this information change you should contact McLaren Leisure to update your details. McLaren Leisure staff are unable to administer any medication to children during the sessions.

Allergies
While we aim to make our kids activities a nut free zone, we are unable ensure 100% nut free facility due to the nature of our public building and cafeteria. Please inform McLaren Leisure staff of any/all allergies and requirements.

Activity Fees
Course fees for all activities will vary from year to year. Customers will not be permitted to participate in any activity until appropriate fees are paid in full.

Extracurricular Activities
McLaren Leisure can provide drop off to McLaren Leisure run afterschool programmes (e.g., swimming lessons.) A written agreement must be in place between any other afterschool activities (i.e., football, gymnastics etc.) And the parent to allow club officials to sign out a child from ML activities and into another afterschool activity. Once children are signed out of McLaren Leisure activities parent/guardians must be available to collect their child from that club/activity.

Valuables & Personal Audio-Visual Equipment
Please keep personal belongings to a minimum. McLaren Leisure Centre will not accept liability for the loss of or damage to any personal effects brought to any session. No mobile phones and/or audio-visual equipment of any kind or any other device are allowed during activities.

Behaviour
In the event of an attendee refusing to adhere instruction from a member of staff, behaving in an unruly manner or causing damage to the premises or any of the furniture, fixtures or equipment the attendee shall not be permitted to continue with their activity. McLaren Leisure Centre shall then have the right to terminate the customer’s attendance to the activity without further notice and without being required to offer any credit or refund.

Toileting & Changing
All children attending these sessions must be able to change/ dress and take themselves to the toilet independently.

Collection of participants
Children attending McLaren Leisure activities must be collected by a recognised adult (16+ Years.) Only adults named on the registration form are able to collect your child from McLaren Leisure activities. If
your plans change last minute and your child will be collected by someone different to who they are expecting please contact us on 01877 330 000 before they are due to arrive.

Photograph Consent
McLaren Leisure from time to time will be photographing some of our children’s activities for promotional purposes. Images may be used on our social media, website and marketing material, exclusively for nonprofit-making purposes. Please complete the photo consent section of your booking form. You retain the right to request your / your child’s image be removed at any point.

Illness
Any participant known/ found to be suffering from any infectious ailment or condition will not be allowed to participate in the activity and it is the responsibility of each participant/guardian to ensure that the
participant is fit and well enough to participate. McLaren Leisure will not accept liability for any infection passed to a participant by another on the activity. In cases of sickness and diarrhoea, participants will not be
permitted in swimming pool for 48 hours after last case. Those diagnosed with cryptosporidium must not swim for 14 days after diarrhoea has stopped.

Adverse Weather Conditions
Due to extreme weather conditions, the decision may be taken to close the Leisure Centre, on such occasions, activities will not run. In the event of this happening, McLaren staff will contact you and credits will be
issued. If we experience extreme weather but can open, our activities will still run and no credits will be given for missed sessions.

Cancellations & Refund Policy
A refund may be requested in writing to the manager no less than 24 hours prior to the commencement of the activity. There after refunds will not be given as this will result in an unsellable space. Credits or date

Clothing
As your child will be taking part in a variety of different activities it is important for their comfort and safety that they are dressed appropriately. We advise all children wear loose, comfortable and
weather appropriate clothing suitable for both indoor and outdoor. (Waterproofs, sunhat, sun cream etc.) Swim wear and towel will also be required for sessions where swimming is provided and sturdy footwear is
a must for climbing and running.
