As Chairperson of McLaren Leisure Centre Board, a charitable and community led organisation, I am delighted to note that Stirling Council, at a recent meeting, agreed to a new five year Service Level of Agreement, at a cost of £327,000 per annum.
In addition I am pleased to note that Stirling Council at the same meeting agreed to support a joint submission to Sports Scotland for a full size All Weather pitch, at McLaren Leisure Centre, and will support the resurfacing of the existing small outdoor pitch if the bid is unsuccessful.

The Board of McLaren Leisure Centre are sorry to announce the retiral of Bob Calvert, Centre Manager. Bob has been Centre Manager for 10 years and over this period has brought about many innovative ideas, including the development of the Callander Indoor Arena, power saving measures and equipment and the development of community relations.
The Board and Staff wish Bob every happiness in his retirement.
