Trossachs Energy Saving Team

McLaren Leisure have recently received funding for a community and home energy-saving programme called the Trossachs Energy Saving Team (TEST) project.

Part of the TEST project will involve installing a heat reclaim system at McLaren leisure swimming pool, aiding the reduction of carbon emissions and running costs. This installation is scheduled to take place between 14th-27th August, during which time the pool will temporarily be out of action.

During this period, we would like to offer our swimming members access to our Fitness Suite Facilities. These facilities will be free to use, however members will required to fill out a Par Q form and receive an induction from a trained member of our staff. Induction times are limited, so booking is advised.

While the pool is temporarily out of action, The Peak in Stirling have also kindly offered our members free access to their pool simply by showing your McLaren Leisure membership card. (Peak Terms and Conditions apply; subject to Peak Pool timetable)

For more information on the pool closure, please contact David Gordon at davidg@mclarenleisure.co.uk

This project has been supported by Climate Challenge Fund, Keep Scotland Beautiful and Home Energy Scotland.
